Rehabilitation
This program brings together expertise and experience in neurorehabilitation, psycho-pedagogy, music therapy, hospital education, and special education, coordinated with oncology, pediatric neurology, and neurosurgery.
Rehabilitation integrated within the multidisciplinary care of the child is far more effective than rehabilitation provided in isolation. It involves not only the active participation of the child, but also the family and the full team of professionals addressing all medical and psychosocial aspects of care.
Juan Aboitiz, a physiotherapist specialized in neurological rehabilitation, is part of the Oncology Unit team, integrating physiotherapy into the overall treatment plan.
