Central Nervous System Tumors
Brain tumors account for approximately 30% of tumors in children and adolescents.
In our Unit, they represent one of the most frequent conditions, largely due to referrals from other centers and second opinion consultations.
The care of children and adolescents diagnosed with a brain tumor requires a high level of specialization in diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitation methods, with the goal not only of curing the disease but also of minimizing long-term sequelae resulting from the tumor or its treatment.
