Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Unit

The Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Unit of HM Hospitales, led by Dr. Blanca López-Ibor, together with Drs. Marta Villa and Marta Osuna as Clinical Heads, is located at HM Montepríncipe University Hospital in Boadilla del Monte (Madrid, Spain). It constitutes the pediatric branch of CIOCC (Clara Campal Comprehensive Cancer Center), sharing its technical and human infrastructure as well as the resources of the HM Hospitales Group. The Unit was inaugurated on October 2, 2006, and was established through the initiative of Dr. Cidón and Dr. Abarca, with the aim of integrating tertiary-level hospital care with highly specialized treatment for children and adolescents diagnosed with cancer and severe hematological diseases.
